Half Marathon

So. We ran the Salt Lake Half Marathon. No big deal.  Actually, it was a huge deal for me and we worked hard.  Yet, at the same time, I loved it. Truly.  I don't think I'll turn into one of those crazy marathoners, but I think I may do a marathon. Just once. For bragging rights.

Conference Trip

At the very beginning of April, we went to see my sister's family in California.  We love these people! The kids have so much fun together, I'm so gald they are our family.  We all went to a park together.  I love getting to watch the kids play with each other and just be in their element.

 Audrey is a little monkey and is SO strong.  I watched her swing on the monkey bars again and again.  I don't think I can even do it once!

Easter

It's true. THIS is our best Easter picture. We were all having a hard time...

Even little Jason was on the hunt for some eggs.

At breakfast that morning, Dan told Jenna we should thank Jesus for Easter. She said, "Why? He didn't hide the eggs."  Funny, but we want to be sure our children understand the true meaning of Easter.  I am so grateful for the sacrifice that Jesus made for me and for each of us. I know that because of Him, we will live again- just as he did.



Sleep time

For Lucy, sleep time can happen anytime, just about anywhere.

One morning she walked into our room. She walked out a few moments later, and we fell back asleep for another 15-20 minutes.  Apparently, so did she.

Dinner time is an acceptable time to fall asleep also...

I've been on a big reduce, reuse, recycle kick. To the left in that white bag, the trash (reduce), the middle pile is boxes (reuse) and that brown bag and all those boxes are the recycle! Hooray for Utah's easy recycle system.
